Death and going back to work?

My dad died and I took my bereavement leave. I go back to work tomorrow. I'm scared that when people ask how I'm doing I'm going to break out in tears and fall apart. If you've had any experience with the loss of a loved one, please share any advice you might have. I appreciate it.
