What if i don't go to pretrial as a witness?

my ex- is being charged with child endangerment for pushing me while i was holding out daughter. neither one of us was hurt, an he turned himself in when he found out about the warrant. he already spent 5 days in jail and lost his job. i was thinking about calling and asking them to drop charges. we had a mediation session for custody today and he's started seeing a counselor, which is what i told my victims advocate i wanted to happen. will they really put a warrant out for me if i don't go to the pretrial, i got a subpoena.... will they drop charges at my request? i think he's lost enough over this and the 5 days in jail before he got bond was enough.
