Would you find another home for your animals, if your kids we're allergic to them?

We bought a dog last month... within a week she was taken back to the breeder. Our youngest son (4months at the time) had an allergic reaction & our oldest (8yrs) asthma was acting up due to the dog. We even noticed that our middle 2 kids (6 1/2 & 4) had runny noses, so slight allergies due to the dog. We did not think twice...the kids come before the dogs. Hubby is a huge dog man & was SO happy to finally get another dog after almost 10 years of not having one, but he did not hesitate when it came to our children's health.
